Very sad and heartbreaking news for the muscle community. Today, the popular, sweet, massive Thom Austin, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 63. Thom was a smiling muscle man, and his presence on Instagram was a joy for muscle fans everywhere.
Rest in peace, big man. Your memory will forever live on in our hearts...

Drugs and roids are a terrible combination
Stupidity and ignorance are much, MUCH worse and you’re a prime example of it.
That was the most ignorant and rude comment ever.

I agree that drugs and roids are dangerous if this was the case! This has become common in the body building world!
Did the guy have a history of child abuse?
Nobody mentioned that he was an openly Gay Man when he competed. We all saw Bob Paris being discriminated. Thom didn't put up with that. He was a good Man.
RIP Thom.

There are so many stupid comment here. Many have no clue about they are saying.
As for gay competing bodybuilders, they have ALWAYS been around and winning!
I'm so disgusted about the comments on here. What do you expect from trolls. Not every bodybuilder takes roids or whichever. Trolls could be so rude and obnoxious. I'm so sorry, Thom, these rude stupid comments were posted. Thank you for being my perseonal trainer. I miss you.
