Ilya Lukovets: The Super-Heavyweight Beast from Belarus
Born in 1992, Ilya Igorevich Lukovets is a Super-Heavyweight bodybuilder from Novopolotsk, Belarus. Before becoming known in bodybuilding circles, Ilya worked as a firefighter at a refinery while grinding through intense training sessions in old-school hardcore gyms.
During his early years, his diet became legendary among local fans; he reportedly consumed around 6.000 calories a day, including a breakfast of 15 eggs, to maintain his rapidly growing mass. In 2014, he became the Overall Champion of Belarus, establishing himself as one of the country’s biggest bodybuilding talents and one of the top prospects in Eastern European bodybuilding.
Over the years, Lukovets became known for his dense muscularity, thick arms, heavy chest, and compact mass-monster look. He became a serious force in European bodybuilding competitions, earning victories and high placings at events such as the Siberian Power Show, Mister & Miss Europe Pro, and Arnold Classic Europe. Lukovets is widely considered one of the most talented bodybuilders to come out of Belarus, often praised for his muscle density and the “raw” power he brings to the stage. He has competed as an IFBB Elite Pro bodybuilder since 2018.
