Marin Meksi: IFBB Pro Classic Bodybuilder and Albanian Diplomat
Marin Meksi is an IFBB Pro athlete from Albania, crowned Overall National Absolute Champion and Winner of the IFBB Diamond Cup Lesuphonia and the IFBB Elite Pro World Championship 2021 in Classic Bodybuilding (up to 180cm). Beyond the stage, he also serves as an IFBB official, contributing to the sport at an international level.
In his professional career, Meksi is a diplomat of the Republic of Albania. Untill 2019, he served as Deputy Ambassador of Albania in Switzerland, and he currently works a diplomat within the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With a long and impactful career, he has played a major role in advancing bodybuilding and fitness in Albania, the Balkans, and internationally—organizing major IFBB events, supporting and promoting athletes, and helping develop the fitness industry and related media.
He has received prestigious medals and honorary titles from more than 18 governments worldwide, as well as numerous bodybuilding and strength-sport federations. His dedication to bodybuilding and fitness remains unwavering, with a clear mission to bring the sport closer to society.
