Masoud Ghadirian: Iran's Massive Super-Heavyweight Bodybuilding Star – Part 2
Second post featuring the amazing Iranian bodybuilding star Masoud Ghadirian. He is known for his massive size, tall frame, and dominance in Super-Heavyweight division. He is considered the heaviest competitive Iranian bodybuilder of his generation, his peak off-season body weight reaching nearly 140kg (309lb)!
Masoud began his athletic journey at a young age, initially involved in football before turning to bodybuilding at the age of 16. He quickly rose through the ranks, winning his first gold medal in a local contest in 2008. Over the years, he secured multiple gold medals in regional competitions, including three consecutive Iranian National Championships (2020-2022), establishing himself as one of the top bodybuilders in the country. He became a member of the Iranian National Team in 2022.
On the international stage, he achieved major success (in the +100kg Category) by winning the first place at the IFBB Asian Bodybuilding Cup 2022 in Kish Island, Iran, and claimed second place at the IFBB World Bodybuilding Championships 2023 in Spain.
With his combination of massive size, consistent victories, Masoud Ghadirian has become one of the most influential modern bodybuilders in Iran and a true role model for the next generation of athletes.
